My potty trained son keeps sh*tting his pants
My 3-year-old has been potty trained for a while, but every so often he still poops himself, even though he knows to ask to use the potty. It happened today at a restaurant and we were totally unprepared. I didn’t have wipes or a change of clothes. We were with friends I hadn’t seen in forever. We had to throw away his underwear and it basically ruined lunch. He’s potty trained, he knows how to do this. I try to hide my frustration but I’m at my wit’s end.

Not an expert. We have a 4 year old that is also potty trained and instead of using the bathroom she hid in the closet and peed Friday.

Ha, at least it’s not numero dos. Hope your closet doesn’t have carpeting. Thanks for sharing this. A friendly reminder that we are Al dealing with the crap (pun intended)

We’ve definitely had a few dicey situations in restaurants. It definitely gets better with time. At three there will still be accidents.
