User Feedback Request: Bundling!
We’re working on adding a bundling feature on Recess.
We’re excited to give you a preview into what we’re building: https://www.loom.com/share/7b678ae3a78b46bdb4530389e51ca23c (This is a quick 100sec video with what we have so far) We are planning to start bundling so that buyers can pick multiple items and then do a single purchase.
Questions for you: Buyers & Sellers - You can only bundle items from a single shop. Does that make sense to you?
Sellers - Would you want a limit to the number of items in a bundle or should it be limitless?
Sellers - We’re planning to make it that when you get a bundled offer, you can select shipment size for the bundle so the buyer would then get an updated quote on the full package. Does this work? Can’t wait to hear from you!

Bundling from one shop makes sense and keeps things organized. Also I think unlimited items to bundle would best. If a seller doesn’t want that option maybe make a toggle for size bundles their shop will do...like 5 pieces, 20 pieces, etc.

Unlimited but what happens if it goes over 1lb? What is the shipment fee?

What@Anonymousis showing are consumer bundles where shoppers create the bundles. How important are seller creates bundles?

I think there should be an option for both buyer and seller created bundles for offering. But I think unlimited bundles are perfect

For bundles - would you want there to be a fixed discount? For example, create a bundle and get 10% off? Or would you want it to be a negotiable? So a buyer I’m a say “I want these five things and I’ll offer you $30.” We’re doing the latter for sure but curious what you think about the fixed discount.

I’m fine with either. Some platforms I have automatic bundle discounts set up like that. Regardless I always send offers on bundles.

I definitely think single shop is the easiest, unlimited items with an option to offer a bundle discount, and updated shipping for the entire bundle so it’s accurate is GREAT!

YES! As a seller bundling is so important! And of course it should only be available within the same shop. I currently have a customer who would like to buy two of my items and I can’t figure out how to do that for him… would love some assistance so I’m not paying processing fees 2x and he’s not paying 2x for shipping.

@Anonymousnew to the app but I think I’d prefer to send individual discounts on bundles to the buyer, just in case the weight of the package exceeds the standard shipping rate.
