Toddler bed transition HELP!
Last night we transitioned our 3.5 yr old to a toddler bed from his crib. Everything went great: when he needed to pee, he woke up and went to the bathroom by himself, he washed his hands, he got dressed, turned off the sound manchineel, opened the blinds, etc. The only problem was that this happened at 5:15 AM. While this might be fine for some families, this boy usually wakes up at 815 and I typically go to bed at midnight. So something needs to change and I don’t want it to be me! When transitioning to a toddler bed, how do you make sure that your LO doesn’t dictate everyone’s schedule (although let’s be real that they already do!)?

Well this little person seems to be really responsible at 3.5 years old so I would have a talk with him an give him rules if he wakes up that early that he needs to follow until mommy wakes up or if that’s out of the question mommy has to put him to bed later or wake up earlier but from the sounds of it he’s on the right track to following all the rules an routines that you had put in place sound like your doing a great job raising your little person
