Valentine's day at daycare/school
Do y'all do anything for valentine's day at your kids daycare/school? If so, what age did you start? What kinds of things did you do?

Call me unsentimental, but hard no for me. It’s a miracle I get him to school on time. Aint got no time for that! But if he makes something cute for Valentine’s Day, I’ll put it on the fridge!

Lol I'm on the other hand all about this! All 3 will be sending Valentine's Day cards to their school this week! The older 2 will be giving some treats along with them ❤️❤️

Do it if it brings you joy! For me, it does not. I’ll send them once Charlie can deliver them himself 😆

We never sent or received valentines growing up as a child, so this was a foreign one for me! Everyone in my son’s class seemed to do it last year, so we just sent a cute card that turned into a plane. It seemed the norm was small cards, a candy, apple sauce or something like that to mark the holiday. I saw Target has cute Apple sauce with hearts on! If it feels like a total chore though, I’d skip it!

- I didn’t realize Valentine’s Day isn’t a thing in the UK. As far back as I can remember I was eating those heart candies.

Gah, this is so validating! I absolutely love the people who run our daycare and the other kids+families there and generally gifting does bring me joy, but I was like “If my toddler’s not actually doing any of this, do I really have it in me?” So glad you asked this question!

@Anonymousmy husband ended up doing a craft "with" my daughter (she's 6mo so she can't do much lol) and he just went to target to complete the valentines before tomorrow 😂 He's shaping up to be the crafty parent!!!
