- it’s been a long time since we were in Charleston but I remember thinking Angel Oak Tree on John’s Island was pretty cool. It’s anywhere between 500 and 1500 years old. Super beautiful.

We took a carriage tour which was fun- great way to see the city!
We also loved waterfront park, and an afternoon at the beach (Isle of Palms).

We did the carriage tour and the kids (especially our oldest who is nine) liked it! Our youngest (two years old) got a little bored at times but it was manageable.
