I’m 40 weeks, and 5 days pregnant. How far overdue can a pregnant girl be before induction is required???

Ohhhhh. So I could go up to 41 or 42 weeks. Ahhhh.

I think OBs will push induction at this point, but it’s safe and normal to go to 42 weeks if baby isn’t ready yet. I always think it’s a good for them to cook as long as they need. Midwives are more comfortable with this and expect that normal pregnancy can go anywhere from 37-42 weeks

Yeah. My little guy is really really cozy rn. lol. But if he’s not here by 42 weeks, he’s getting evicted whether he wants to or not.

They can legally induce you after 39 weeks if you want so
