Growth spurt….
My LO is 6 weeks old and on Fri she pretty much cried all day when she wasn’t taking 20 minutes naps while being held for 11.5 hours straight. She cried so much that her cries are hoarse. I feel terrible for her.

That sounds rough! Pretty sure we dealt with this at the six week mark too. It could also be gas, constipation, or even colic since their digestive tracks haven’t figured it out. Bicycle legs or a warm bath or tummy massage can sometimes help if it’s stomach issues. If she still seems uncomfortable, it’s worth checking in with your pediatrician. In all likelihood it isn’t anything serious. But that doesn’t make it any less hard. Good luck! Let us know how she’s doing!

She does suffer from gas often and we already use myelicon drops, gripe water from time to time and have recently started to use a probiotic. We do bicycle kicks and massage and other movements to help her pass the gas.

- How’s your baby girl doing today? Hope she’s crying less and you’re doing okay!!! I would get so frazzled when stuff like that happened.

We had this happen at 6 weeks too - was a crazy growth spurt for our son, and gut wrenching for us.
Both then and in prior instances of multi-day crying and fussiness, the answer for our son has been "he's hungry." Used to take 2-3 days to get to this conclusion, got it down to about 24 hours at the 6-week mark, and now we're quick to say that if he's having issues, he's hungry (our baby is VERY chill).
Good luck!!

She’s back to her normal behavior. Still takes time to settle sometimes.
